Sometimes, I am on the ball and can keep up with everything. Sometimes, I write a blog post and it sits in my "drafts" for a month :) - so ... it is late, but here it is :)

I cannot believe that we are finally here! On November 2nd, 2021, the final chapter of the erotic retelling of the Snow White Series launches on Kindle and Kindle Unlimited.
For those of you who have been following me from the beginning (April 27th, 2021) you may have already heard my origin story and the origin story of this whole incredible journey.
For those of you who have not yet heard the tale - I have wanted to write and call myself an author since I was old enough to know that humans wrote books and that they weren't just things that grew on trees or fell into the world fully realized (I was maybe 4 or 5).
I have over 20 unfinished, or draft manuscripts just waiting for the love and attention they deserve to be launched into the world - but I was too scared, too "busy" and too confused to move beyond the handwritten draft stage. My books (still) sit, waiting and aching for their chance to be brought forward into the world.
In October of 2020, I received a reality check when my mother passed away. We were a small family, just my mother, my sister and myself, and losing her felt like this giant hole opened up in my world. But the loss also brought a sense of urgency. I realized that we are mortal (shocker, right?) and we are not going to be here forever.
I am not going to be here forever.
My dreams are not going to have infinite opportunities to be brought to reality. If I wanted it, the time was NOW! So I made a plan.
I knew I wanted to dip my toe into the world with something "safe" - If you have read my books, you might be thinking I am insane by this point- but an erotic retelling of a fairytale seemed fun, easy, and marketable - so, the seed was planted. My friends cheered me on and we had many a wild night brainstorming about what I could write. In the end, the only choice was - of course- Snow White. In a recent interview, I was asked why I chose Snow White, and the truth is simple: seven men (technically 9 if you include the Huntsman and the king)... Seemed like a no-brainer. So I sat down in early November 2020, and by Solstice, the draft was complete.
Then I started researching how to publish a book and came across 2 amazing books that shot me forward - Passive Income, Aggressive Retirement by Rachel Richards made it seem like a viable option, and something truly worth exploring and Published by Chandler Bolt, which laid it all out - step by step and demystified the entire process. (For any other money nerds, or aspiring authors, I highly recommend both of these books.)
By April, I published my first book- Snow White and the Wicked Queen: Chapter 1
In June, I published the second book in the series- Snow White and the Vicious Curse: Chapter 2, and in August I published the third book in the series - Snow White and the Seven Thieves: Chapter 3
I have had more than one person say I was crazy for holding to a "1 book every 2 months" pace... and in hindsight, they were not wrong. It was insane! Straight up, bat-shit crazy! I am exhausted!
There was more than one sleepless night, more than one panic attack, some brutal learnings, some massive mistakes, and I am pretty sure my husband was measuring me for a jacket with big buckles and extra-long sleeves. But I wouldn't change a thing :)
I have learned more on this journey than I could have ever dreamed. I have met amazing people, and broken into incredible new communities. I have partnered with fantastic authors from around the globe, and participated in their book launches, and had them participate in mine. I've been introduced to a whole new world of reading opportunities and been blessed with some of the best reads of my life.
The Snow White Series began as a dare, a kick in the pants and a crash course on self-publishing. It has grown into so much more than that!
With an ever-growing fan base, a tight team of creatives working together and a story I am so proud to share, I could not be happier to be at this phase in my journey - and I owe it all to you!
